SJHL sends 10 to WJAC camp

Courtesy of SJHL.ca:

The Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League is sending 10 of its players to the World Junior 'A' Challenge Team West Evaluation camp, starting Sunday in Canmore, AB.

1992 G Matt Hrynkiw (Humboldt Broncos)

1993 G Stephen Klein (Nipawin Hawks)

1993 D Devon McMullen (Yorkton Terriers)

1992 D Josh Roach (Humboldt Broncos)

1993 D Logan Sproule (Humboldt Broncos)

1993 F Cameron Blair (Flin Flon Bombers)

1993 F Matt Brykaliuk (Estevan Bruins)

1992 F Lucas Froese (Melville Millionaires)

1993 F Tanner Froese (Estevan Bruins)

1994 F Dillan McCombie (Flin Flon Bombers)

*Former Melville Millionaire D Jordan Paddock is also heading to the camp for a second straight year.  Paddock was traded to Powell River (BCHL) in the off-season.

20-year-olds aren't eligible for the Junior 'A' Challenge, and teams can only have a maximum of six 19-year-olds (1992's).

The tournament runs November 7th-13th in Langley, BC.

The Bruins are in Virden tonight to take on the MJHL's Swan Valley Stampeders. Steven Glass gets the start.

I don't have the team's current roster at the moment, but I can report that 17-year-old forward Wyatt Garagan has been returned to the Tisdale Trojans. Wyatt had a terrific camp and did everything he could to earn a spot, but there simply isn't room for any '94 forwards with the crop of '93s coming in.
