The Bruins defeated the Notre Dame Hounds 6-5 in today's rookie game in Wilcox.
Scorers were Wyatt Garagan (3), Dayton Picard, Daniel Wanner and Zach Douglas.
The Bruins got out to a 4-2 lead in the second period before the Hounds tied it up. Estevan then took a 5-4 lead, only for Notre Dame to level it up again. Garagan scored the game-winner on a two-man advantage late in the third.
Estevan's next game is at home against the Wings tomorrow, followed by a return game in Weyburn on Wednesday.
